A breeze blew across the city, Sending shivers down my spine Looking over to the clock tower, It was nearly the right time.
I hung my feet over the edge, Looking down once again. Sitting on this old rooftop, Where many lonely days were spent.
My mind remains thoughtless, Not daring to think of you. I wouldn't be at this height, If not for all you had to do.
The clock chimes four times, I look over
ShadowsAt the latest hours of night, In the very depths of my dreams, They come awake to warn me Of all that they have seen.Shadows
Their whisper's so quiet, And voices quite hoarse I know only to listen, A choice made with no force.
They gather around, Their faces dark as night Telling a tale of The death of all light.
"The sun will soon perish, We the shadows know, That once light has gone You'll have no place to go.
We ask you to join us In our eternal life, And you will never again fear The darkness of the night.
GoodbyeSmothered away by The smoke and fog, I stand alone Where I don't belong.Goodbye
I try to reach out My vision's impaired. I won't admit, I'm hopelessly scared.
The sun was hiding, 'Twas frightened away. Only I shall suffer From what comes today.
Air is thinning, As I gasp for breath. The world is spinning, I near my death.
The earth was cold, When I took my fall. Goodbye dear world, Goodbye one and all.
RopesThose ropes you held In your arms, Were not for fun, They were for harm.Ropes
Together we'd leave This world at last. Forgetting our future, Living our past.
Those ropes you tied Upon that tree, Were going to be The death of you and me.
We'd hold hands, We'd cry silent tears. No pain is greater, Then dealing with fear.
Those ropes we placed Around our necks, Would silence us, We would not fret.
It would feel quite odd Not to breathe, But I would be happy, To finally leave.

Beyond my fears, Beyond the blood,
And all the tears I see it only
In my dreams But it's more real
Than it seems A place where I don't
Cry or scream Where all my thoughts
Are clear and clean The sun gives light,
